F3 Meeting Logistics & Information

Thank you for your participation in the F3 Meeting. We look forward to hosting you and have compiled the following information to assist with your stay. Please let us know if there are additional details we can help you with.

San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront Hotel

The Registration & Information desk will be located in the foyer hallway, in front of the Salon F entrance and will be open during the following hours:

Mon. Feb. 18: (early registration): 3:00 - 8:00 PM

Tues. Feb. 19: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Wed. Feb. 20: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Thurs. Feb. 21: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Fri. Feb. 22: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Please make sure to wear your name tag to all of the F3 Meeting sessions (including dinners) to ensure full access.

Meeting Room

Every session of the meeting taking place at the hotel will be in Salon F. In order to reach this room from the hotel lobby, cross the lobby and ascend the stairs or escalator to the second floor, walk down the hall, past Salons A-D, and turn left. (see map below)

Feed and Ingredient Fair

The Feed and Ingredient Fair on Day 1 (Feb. 19) of the conference will take place in the hallway and foyer in front of Salon F. Designated set-up time is from 12-2 PM. If you cannot make that time, you can drop off your Feed Fair materials at the Registration and Information desk and our staff will place them at your assigned table.

In addition to the above instructions, hotel staff will be available to assist. There will be a large F3 banner in the lobby entrance and many smaller signs to direct you to the meeting room and registration desk.


Breakfast & Lunch

Meals and snacks will be served in the foyer in front of Salon F. Breakfast will be served every morning at 7:30 AM; Lunch will be at 12:00 PM.


Transportation will be provided from San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront Hotel to the Dinner locations and back. Buses will be located under the flagpoles located just outside of the Airport Marriott. As you exit the hotel, follow the sidewalk to the left until you reach the flag poles.

Transportation and Parking

Free Hotel Shuttle

The San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront Hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service that runs to and from San Francisco International Airport (SFO). The hotel front desk can be reached at +1 650-692-9100 if you have questions about the shuttle.

Shuttle Schedule:

4AM to 1AM on the hour every 15 - 20 minutes

1AM to 4AM on the hour every 30 minutes

Pickup Location at SFO:

The shuttle picks up at the departure level of all terminals and is a large white shuttle bus with the Marriott and Hyatt names on the side (see image of shuttle below). When you exit the terminal building, cross the street to the center median and locate the sign that says 'hotel shuttles'.

Driving Directions

To hotel from SFO:

As you exit SFO International Airport take Highway 101 South towards San Jose. Exit from Highway 101 at first exit, Millbrae Ave. East bound. Follow Millbrae Ave eastbound towards the bay which will end at Old Bayshore Highway. Turn right on Old Bayshore Highway. Hotel is located 1/4 mile down Old Bayshore Highway on the left hand side. Turn Left at Mitten Ave into hotel driveway.


Parking is self-paid. We will have parking slips available at the Registration/Information desk that offer a discounted $15/day rate. The same parking slip can be used each day of the meeting.

How to use: When exiting the hotel, drive to the North gate at the very end of the parking lot (furthest from the hotel). This is the only machine that will read the parking slips. First, insert the original ticket (the one received when entering), and then scan the barcode on the white parking slip to open the gate.

For those driving and staying at the hotel, your room card can be used instead of a slip in the machine and the parking fee will be charged to your room.
