MESSAGE FROM BAA HEADMASTER, MS. CLARK

On Monday, the freshmen are going to engage in the oldest tradition at Boston Arts Academy: the ID/3D Fair. When we opened the school in 1998, the original faculty and the original students all created boxes that included pictures, mementos, sayings, objects, etc. that represented our identities, and then we shared with each other as a way of introducing ourselves to the BAA community. We have done that same exercise with our new students every year since, and every year students come up with new and creative ways to express their identities.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing our freshmen classes' projects at this year's freshmen ID/3D fair on Monday. This tradition is really about the shared value "Diversity with Respect." Every individual at BAA is valued; every student should be known and respected as an individual.

Have a great week!
