  1. The meeting was delayed due to a conflict with the usual meeting space. The back-up plan was to use our Basement space which did not work due to dampness and cold. We finally were offered to use Burkart Hall, where it was warmer, but without a table was not as good for our type of meeting.
  2. The minutes of the November meeting were approved.
  3. Historic properties were discussed. Lorraine reported that 86E. Butler was sold. The Davis property has been off the market. .637 E Butler was presented to the Planning Commission. Mark has an extensive letter of comments. This will most likely go up for sale,
  4. Lorraine said that she was approached regarding filling out the Committee positions. Apparently, we needed a Vice-Chair and Treasurer. Lorraine was nominated to remain Chair. The other positions are as noted above. The Secretary cast the unanimous ballot
  5. For other Committee reports the Planning Commission and the U/O plan was discussed. Lorraine said that in her discussions it appears that nothing would be presented in March or April, but we must keep checking. It was suggested that the HP Committee write a letter to Planning/Council expressing out opposition to this for various reasons, one being that more than 50% of the houses in the Borough are more that 40 years old, and also that the false premise that most municipalities have such an Ordinance. . Marie offered to draft a letter and send it to the HP Committee members for suggestions.
  6. There have been no Zoning meetings. However here appears to be a change in the date based on the Newsletter. Mary-Pat was not aware of this and w will look unto it. This is important as we attend selected Zoning meetings.
  7. The Business and community Community committee has added two members. The Advisory committee appears to have returned to reviewing applications for Employees, Planning and Zoning vacancies..
  8. Lorraine will talk to Bob Binkley regarding some dehumidification and heat in our room in the Basement.
  9. ”Wreaths” was discussed. Apparently Chalfont is considering doing a similar event, which would be the same day. The thought of 2 similar events so close to each other does not make sense. The attendance at our event has dropped as have the contributions. This will be discussed at the next meeting when Jackie and Bruce will be present.
  10. The discussion regarding the new display at Burkart Hall and a Spring Program ultimately got combined into a plan to do something for the June 23 celebration of the Covered Bridge and 56he anniversary (90th) of the founding. “Businesses then and now” suggestion was tabled in favor of updating the e Historic Properties, particularly those that have Conservancy Plaques (total of 14). A workshop will be held on March 5 to review the Committee’s existing inventory on these properties, etc.
  11. The next needing is 10 AM, March 21, 2018 at the Ad Building
