Known Female Chimps
Vivienne and Dari (southern community)
This female has a unique coloring with her very bright, blond back and legs. The rest of the body seems to be dark grey, her butt is almost black. She looks quite small and lean. Her brows are also bright, she has a stripe of dark hair on her head and the left ear might have a nick on top. She's carrying a small ventral infant.

Littlewhite (southern community)
She is a light-brown haired female with thick long hair in the neck and all pink swelling. Her balding is wide and triangular, quite straight and strong brows with a little dip in the middle, long bright muzzle, bright nose. There might be a nick on top of her left ear but it's not sure. She seems to walk with an open muzzle. She belongs to the southern community.

She is a heavy female with a unique fur color: upper half dark and lower half bright grey. She has a big balding, not too big ears, almost straight brows, bright, protruding muzzle. Her swelling also looks quite unique like an irregular bow-tie. TOFem11 is seen with TOJuv03. She seems to be pregnant. She has been matched to the female in Subject 35686387 as we can see the same body build, a similar swelling and fur color, balding and bright protruding upper lip.

Prospective Female Chimps
TOFem01 (northern community)
This dark and light brown female has an extremely big, pink, hanging swelling with some brown borders. The hair just above the swelling is darker than the rest of her body, then lighter and gradually blends into the darker brown. Her face might be narrow with some pink regions and probably darker cheeks. There's no offspring seen with her but she is accompanied by a lean male.

Female with a dorsal infant and a grey lower back and grey legs (backside only) in the same shade. Slim face with protruding muzzle, round, thick brows, quite big, round or triangular balding, big right ear, sticking out. Dark callosity cushions.
The infant, probably a girl, might also be seen walking as it is already quite big. She has a flat profile and longish face, round brows with no gap, big oval ears sticking out, round balding on forehead. Big, feathery tuft. Suggested as a match to TOFem03b and then to TOFem03c.

There seem to be differences in the callosities and color of the backs/thighs compared to TOFem03, and TOInf03b looks smaller than 03 with a round balding. Since there's no face view of TOFem03b we can't match her with 100% certainty.

Proposed as a match to TOFem03/TOInf03 by AnLand. Match dismissed by AleMascaro: Quote: *the females are phenotypically different. For example, about the differences in terms of swelling or not, I don't think features like the two circles at both sides of the vagina can completely visually disappear, in particular in a case in which the swelling is not at its maximum, like this one.*
This female has a dark upper body, slightly brighter legs and back. Her head seems to be relatively small with a wide balding and protruding muzzle. TOInf03c is a boy, quite big to still be carried. He has slightly curved brows, regular ears and a little balding. Proposed as a match to TOFem03 and 03b but discarded because she is from another community.

Dark-haired female with a slightly brighter, round head and thin hair on the chest. Big, high, pink swelling. Full balding, round ears seem to be intact, sticking out, arched, protruding brows with a little dip in the middle and an irregularity on her right brow near the dip. Boxy muzzle, irregular in color around the dark nose with big nostrils. Seen with TOMale06.

She is a dark-haired, seemingly older female with some thick hair in the neck and grey lower back and back of thighs. She has a dark swelling. She seems to be bald, with angular brows, and walks with an open muzzle. Her right ear is small with a nick or some deformation in it. She has a (temporary?) problem with her right eye, swollen or closed. Suggested to be a match to TOFem07 but discarded.

TOFem07 (unknown member of Rekambo community)
TOFem07 has uniform dark hair color. Her forehead is completely bald, she has thick but short, protruding brows, slightly curved. Round muzzle, big nostrils and big, sticking out ears, the left one more than the right. She looks rather young. In this video she's following Loango-Thea, a young male chimp.Suggested as a match to TOFem06 and TOFem10 but discarded.

Bright-haired female, especially on back, legs and head with a dark face and flat head. Right ear is round and intact. Other features are not well seen. She carries a dorsal infant with bright face, straight brows and rectangular balding. Sex unclear. Accompanied by TOMale05 and TOJuv06.
Was considered a unique chimp but after closing the site, proposed as TOFem03c. At Ale to decide, but very unlikely a match.

Proposed by AnLand as a match to the female in Subject 35725957. Discarded because of fur color and not well seen features.

He looks tall, with grey back and legs. He has a very long face with a long, brighter muzzle; both ears are deformed and bent close to the head. Nostrils are close together, the right one a little deformed. His brows are only slightly bent and quite narrow, triangular balding. Big, uneven testis.

Grey back and legs, His right ear looks pointy with a small deformation, the middle part of the rim bent back, protruding, slightly bent brows, wide, straight balding, small V-shaped nose. He seems to have either a strange discoloration or even scar tissue between nostrils and mouth on the right side of his muzzle. The lips are brighter than the rest of the muzzle. The butt shows strong callosity cushions and uneven testis, left one higher. He's got a very bright back and almost white nape.

Although we don't see the features of this male very good he could still be easily matchable due to his unique, bright muzzle which seems to be completely depigmented. He has quite straight brows and probably a small balding. Lean built with some grey patches on back and thighs.

This is another slender, tall male with grey back and legs. Upper body, arms and head are dark. Strong forearms. He has a rather flat head, small balding, bowed brows and probably an intact left ear.

He's quite a unique guy with dark hair and light-grey back and dark butt. He has a wide balding and at least one dark straight stripe of hair down his left forehead through the balding (maybe also on the right side) and again a wider, dark, diagonal stripe on the left temple. The muzzle looks rectangular caused by the bright color. Small nose same color as face mask, thin brows, slightly bent. Left ear is round and intact. Under his left buttock a bright line is seen. Proposed as TOMale07 but traits do not fit.

This adolescent male has black hair. Hands, ears, brows and the entire face show some depigmentations. Small, triangular balding, curved brows with dip in the middle, small nose, left ear has some small deformations along the rim, sticking out a bit, pink lips. He's been seen with TOFem05.

Dark male with slightly lighter back, flat head. Wide, triangular balding, bushy white brows, bright round muzzle with slightly darker nose. Right ear might have a deformation a/o cut. He has been compared to TOMale05 but traits do not fit.

He's a massive male with dark fur and grey back. Ears look intact. He has straight brows, a boxy, bright muzzle a bit darker above the upper lip, irregular coloring on either side of the nose. He has a very special balding pattern with a streak and patches of dark across his head. Seen with Pruetz.

He's a big male juvenile. His ears are close to the head, balding shaped like a McDonald M, round thick brows broken in the middle, slightly darker face mask, regular, wide nose with maybe a scar on the right side, The lips might be surrounded by some brighter lines and he has fluffy sideburns.

It's a big juvenile, probably female, with a small round balding. The face seems to be rather light. The nostrils look very small, a little bit like a snub nose. Rounded brows and a dark mark on the upper lip. The face looks quite unique.

TOJuv03 (probably northern community)
This big juvenile has dark hair and a big belly. Ears standing off some, big balding above almost straight, thin brows. Somewhat angular, protruding muzzle, regular nose, slightly darker eye mask. S/he might have a white eye sclerae, which is very seldom in chimps. TOjuv03 is probably from the northern community. Could be male, but not sure.
First considered as a unique chimp but after matching Agathe he’s likely her offspring.

This juvenile has dark hair and still a big tuft. He has big ears slightly standing off, bent brows with no gap, straight wide pink nose and pink muzzle, darker area below the eyes, white beard and oval balding. Could be male, but not sure.

Dark-haired, male juvenile with only some white hairs of the tuft left. His right ear is undamaged, longish, with thin rim. Brows are thin and straight with no gap. Face color is quite bright, with a slightly darker nose, and darker on the side of the chin. Deep line and some wrinkles on the right cheek. Nose and nostrils are big and he's got almond shaped eyes and a triangular balding. He follows a male with a grey back.

Dark-haired juvenile with a spiky tuft. Big bright mickey-mouse ears, slightly curved brows with no gap. Face color is quite bright, nose and broad, horseshoe-shaped muzzle even brighter, dark hair on the cheeks. He has a wide, triangular balding. Seen with TOMale05 and TOFem08 / TOInf08.

with five chimp communities
The colored zones on the left are the main territory of the Rekambo chimps. The named paths (mainly in orange, pink and white is where the researchers follow the habituated Rekambo chimps. Some of the cameras are situated in the white areas and record chimps from those communities and visiting Rekambo chimps. Other cameras that are within the colored areas can also show visitors from other communities, like the one on the border between the pink and white, northern area.
