• Current 10th and 11th grade students, please report to the PAC for TEAM TODAY if you are interested in learning more about CTE Academy.
• TODAY is the last day to sign up for the ASVAB!!  Juniors and seniors interested in the military or interested in exploring careers (military and non-military careers) are encouraged to sign up to take the ASVAB. The ASVAB is on Wednesday, February 4 starting at 8:05 AM in the community room. When a student is done testing, they are expected to get a pass from the office and return to class. They will also be exempt 7th & 8th period that day to receive their score and go through the career interest inventory with SFC Kocer with the SD Army National Guard. Students who do not attend will be able to pick up their scores the next day in the office. The ASVAB is FREE. You can register using your k12 email by clicking here.
• There will be public performances of A Year with Frog and Toad (One Acts)  on Monday and Tuesday at 7:00 pm.  We also perform at State (in Brandon) on Thursday at 7:45 pm.
• Join us on February 5th for a Club America meeting in Mr. Olson's room (#209) at 7:15-7:45. We will be discussing how Christian faith can shape our understanding of life in America today.
• FCA will meet this Sunday (Feb. 1st) for gym games, dessert, and a message from Coach Becker. See you at 7pm in the Community Room!
• Pole Vault Practice will begin on Monday, February 2nd after Athlete Academy.  Contact Coach Mueller for further details. Make sure you are registered on BOUND before we begin practice.
• SALSA Meeting: February 3rd (Tuesday) at 7:00 AM in the Community Room. Speaker: Manique from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
• A Girls Golf Interest Meeting will be at 7:45 am on Tuesday, Feb. 3rd in the Aux Gym.  Information will be handed out for girls interested in trying out for the Girls Golf team this Spring.
• Camp Invention at Inspiration Elementary is looking  for High School Leadership volunteers this summer from June 8-12.  If you are interested contact Teri Huska at  Teri.Huska@k12.sd.us

• BV SPORTS PARTICIPATION: Parents must complete BOUND registration for each sport before their student/s can begin tryouts/practice for that sport – and registration involves more than just a physical-form upload. Parents can begin by selecting Registration from the top/main menu of the following page: https://www.gobound.com/sd/schools/brandonvalley  Select Registration; don’t go into the activity first. (Students cannot try out or begin practice with only the physical form.) Managers, your parents must also complete all of the steps of BOUND manager registration. Again, PARENTS complete BOUND registration. Students do not.

• Seniors: Reminder that the Build Dakota Scholarship application opened on Jan. 1 and will close on March 31st.  If you are headed to one of the SD Technical Colleges in the fall and your program qualifies for the scholarship, start working on your application now!   https://www.builddakotascholarships.com/  See your counselor with any questions.
• Following is the link for the BV Athletic Scholarship for this year.  Entries are due by March 16. 2026 BV Athletic Scholarship Please use only this Google form. The application is no longer in paper format.
• Seniors - The Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation scholarship opportunities are now available!  There is a link to these opportunities on the counselor website under financial aid/scholarships (click on logo) or you can find their scholarship options here: https://www.sfacf.org/grants-scholarships/scholarships
