• Seniors, if you participated in a Brandon Valley sport this year (as an athlete or manager), please check your email for important information and instructions regarding this year’s Senior Athletic Banquet. April 15 is the deadline for photo uploads and ticket pre-orders (links in email). Ticket pick-up and payment will be announced the week of April 20.  
• There will be a DECA meeting in Mrs. Kennett’s room at 7:15 a.m. on Thursday.
• This week is HOPE Week. Follow the themes of the week:
  **April 14 - Twin Tuesday: Twin with Someone!
  **April 15 - Wellness Wednesday: Wear Something to represent what makes you happy!
  **April 16 – Thoughtful Thursday: Hat Day!
  **April 17– Finally Friday: Wear your mental health shirts or green!
  Due to unforeseen circumstances, the lantern walk for this Friday has been cancelled.  We are currently searching for an even better time to share our HOPE and spread our LIGHT for others.  
• FCA is excited to meet again this Sunday, April 19th at 7pm! We will play a game outside if possible, and then hear advice from Christian senior athletes in the Community Room. See you then!
• Students: See the following for a volunteer opportunity this summer.  Note that if you want to be inducted into the National Honor Society next year, you will have to complete a minimum of 6 service hours to apply. This opportunity would count as service hours.  See Mrs. Stemwedel if you have additional questions about NHS service hours or Camp Invention.
  
  Brandon Valley will be hosting Camp Invention at Inspiration again this year. Camp will run June 8 - 12, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. We need High School Volunteers to help make camp successful! Volunteers will earn 40 service hours and some great experience to add to applications and resumes. • Best Buddies Prom is Friday, April 17th! Everyone is invited to the Grand March in the PAC at 5:30 PM. The dance will be from 6:00-7:00 PM. Please RSVP in the Band App! https://band.us/band/99392248/post/42 
• “The SpongeBob Musical” tickets are now on sale! April 23, 24, 25 at 7pm, and April 26 at 1:00pm. Passes are not accepted. Reserved seating. $10 for adults and $5 for students. If you have the BOUND app, do NOT go into the App first; instead, click on the TICKET Link.
• We will be wrapping up our yearbook sales at the end of the month. Order by April 30th  to ensure you will receive a copy!  If you wait until May to order, you will not be guaranteed a yearbook. We only have a certain number of books we can reserve, so nothing is guaranteed on or after May 1, 2026. ORDER HERE!
• On April 1, 2026, Brandon Valley’s new physical form (for the year 2026-2027) was emailed to all students in grades 6-11 and their parents. The email and the physical form include Activity/BOUND registration instructions. Registration is now open for all 2026-2027 sports and high school marching band. It  can be completed any time after the student has a new physical dated on or after April 1, 2026 – and it is REQUIRED before practice. Follow the instructions on the physical form. As was the case this year, physicals must be uploaded as part of the BOUND registration process; paper, faxed and emailed physical forms will NOT be accepted. 
• Baccalaureate is May 6th in the PAC. For any seniors wanting to participate in leading this evening, please come to the meeting on April 22nd at 2:30pm in the community room.
• BV Colorguard Tryout Info: Want to try something new? Come join the BV Colorguard and be part of our award winning Marching Band!  Tryout Dates: April 16th, 21st, and 27th. Time & location: 6:00–8:00 PM @ BVHS. Open to all current 8th -11th graders—no experience necessary! Come be part of an exciting and creative team. For more information, scan the QR code on the flyers hanging throughout the building.
