Meeting Notes of 01/25/2018

Meeting was called to order at 7:37 pm followed by the Pledge of Allegiance

Attending were Andrea Antell, Matt Benscoter, Jackie D'Agostino, Mike Stanislaw and Halsey White

The 2017 AAC Annual report was read as a substitute for the minutes of Last meeting [which was in August pertaining to Planning Consultant]

The Annual Report [see Attachment] was approved with CORRECTIONS

Motion from Andrea, second by Jackie

1. Spelling error on Jackie's last name in Member Listing
2. Shade Tree Commission Representative not in Member Listing
3. Bruce Burkart - UCC Appeals Board not in Member Listing. For several years he has been left off the email distribution of materials
4. Committee Question  " What is the UCC Appeals Board?--No info found on Borough Committee Pages

Sam Bryant's email RE: General 2018 Housekeeping info was read and Bullet items were clarified for application to AAC

Committee Membership Changes -- Welcome Andrea from Parks & Rec and Matt from Public Safety

Thanks to Derek MacMillan and Jo Schuler for their service.

Recent Council Appointees Kathy MacMillan to Parks & Rec, Mimi Volker to WQNP

Currently 2 volunteers pending Council appointment Tess LaMontagne for CBC and Alex Nagy for Parks & Rec

There is one Business vacancy on CBC

Nominations were opened for officers

Halsey White was selected to continue as Chair-accepted

Andrea Antell was selected as Vice Chair- accepted

Matt Benscoter was selected as Secretary - accepted

No Unfinished Business

New Business

AAC will continue to meet on the fourth Thursday of each month when action is required [as in the past]

Matt and Andrea requested copies of Decision Matrix forms and notes—Halsey to email them

Halsey to check with Sam and Robyne on member list question RE: Quorum

No other Business being brought
