  1. Lorraine called the meeting to order and introduced guest Marilyn Backer from Chalfont Lorraine also got approval to alter the sequence of the agenda to accommodate Jackie, who I had limited time.
  2. After the Pledge and approval of the minutes, Wreaths across America was discussed, which was the main reason for Marilyn’s presence. Jackie explained the annual re-application process and other issues with the Wreathes committee. Contrary to the report at last month's meeting Marilyn said that Chalfont will not attempt a Wreathes event this year. Because of this Jacket was authorized to re-apply for the Committee for this year’s event which will be Noon on Saturday December 15. 3018.
  3. Jackie said that she needed help on the promotion part of this event. There were several suggestions; however, the Wreathes committee holds checks until after the closing date (near thanksgiving) which has been an issue. This all will be discussed at a future meeting.
  4. For thief Community and Business Committee, Jackie reported that they are finalizing a Welcome packet for new residents. They are also finalizing a bench design for the Butler Avenue corridor.
  5. Jackie reported that the Shade agree Commission was reviewing a \the trees on the East and West Islands bordering Tame end Ave. and Lenape Ave, respectively. The trees in the east island are Ash and most are diseased and should be replaced. The trees on the west island have not been maintained and some look more like bushes. Part of the cost for this work is a waiting on the August approval of PECO Grant application.
  6. The group next tot into discussion of the proposed Pre-sale Inspection Ordinance (U of O I/O, etc,). Marie had drafted two letters expressing the Committee;’s opposition to this. The draft with the list of municipalities and whether they have or do not have such an ordinance was preferred It was suggested that the paragraph referring to the excising Buyer inspection be reworked to stress the apparent success of this practice along with Real-estate disclosure forms.
  7. The HP Committee voted unanimously to give the letter to each member of the Planning Commission and Borough Council. Lorraine was to advice Sam of this vote.
  8. There was discussion of the details of the Historic Properties display at eBurkkart Hall and a parallel exhibit at the June 23 event. The meeting he adjourned for a worktop.
