Students will understand that…

The goal is for all students in the class to create works for their individual portfolio that shows a growth in both content and execution. Students should develop a personal voice and be able to show inspiration from a variety of sources. Their AP/WE service learning project will be a part of their portfolio and not separate from.

Landscape in cut paper, gray scale from painted paper made by students.  Work from studies done outside to create a “new” landscape, consider proportion and scale.  Color studies and color landscape in watercolor, gouache, acrylic, and/or mixed media.  Art history class and discussion.
