Minutes for October Parks and Recreation Meeting                         Date: 10/02/17

1. Meeting was called to order at 7:30pm. In attendance were Tom Price, Jo Shuler, Janet, and Derek
2. Managers Report

1. Spotted Lantern Fly update ( Tom Price explained the Dept. of Agriculture quarantine.)

3. Financials

1. Update on 2017 Budget. ( Approved )

4. Landscaping

1. Bair’s rut repair update ( repaired )
2. Tree planting update ( plants are being watered by Tom Price )

5. Old Business

1. Choose replacement Crab Apple Trees ( specific type )
2. Pop up Park update ( Success pergola will be relocated to the Borough Administration Building. )
3. Nesting Box Repair. Bat box relocation. (Bat box to be removed from the nature preserve, repaired, and relocated in Orchard Park. )

6. New Business

1. Schedule a fall clean up a the garden 
2. Turf Conditioner for park.

7. Action Items

1. Watering new plantings ( Tom Price will move hose from Nature Preserve ) and will water plantings and Weed Wack.
2. Survey Line requested to make final placement of Park Boundary Markers.
3. Sign at information kiosk on plant donation.
4. Ash Tree treatment at Bridge entrance. ( Agreed with having cost the evaluated ,and having the tree treated and the branches trimmed.)
