  1. Minutes of the June 15, 2016 meeting were approved.
  2. Dick reported that the Planning commission will get another submission o regarding the STM to settle the lighting issue.
  3. He also reported that New Britain Inn is planning an addition which will alter some parking and require a sidewalk which they opposed due to costs. . The resubmission included the sidewalk. This will require a couple of trees. The Committee asked what kind as they were concerned about continuity with the Main Street project. Lorraine will talk to Sam to have this come up age the CBC meeting.
  4. The Planning commission will work on the updated 2017 Comprehensive Plan in November at a workshop and meeting
  5. Bruce said that he has found the proper paint for the edge of the steps at Burkart Hall.
  6. Lorraine was able to determine, after talking with Tom, that the Rowan property (next to the gas station) Is not vacant. The Owner has various personal issues but the property is in use. The damaged mailbox is not in use as the owner uses a PO Box.
  7. Bruce reported that Wreaths Across America is Saturday December 17, 2016(later than usual) . He and Jackie have things under control. Bruce needs small confederate flags. Bruce will have a small table at the Duck Derby, for anyone wanting information or rake a contribution.
  8. The Committee visited the Basement area of Burkart Hall. Tom suggested a partition to create a corridor from the space on the east side to the public space required by the Restroom snf the elevator machinery.
  9. The space formerly occupied by the police may work but should include the small office area off the remaining space. Close door and remove a partition.
  10. The committee will set a date to remove things from the Ad Building including files and Basement and include things that Bruce has at his place to see what space is really OK.
  11. The next meeting will be Wednesday September 21, 2016 at 10 AM at the Ad Building
