Weekly Bulletin

April 29 - May 3, 2019  |  Week 32

MESSAGE FROM BAA HEADMASTER, MS. CLARK

Families, I am writing to thank you once again for your support and to ask you once again for your help. I am asking you to please fill out a BPS Climate Survey: www.bostonpublicschools.org/climatesurvey.

These surveys are used by the Boston Public Schools to evaluate our outreach to families...and the first metric is the rate of participation on this survey! We need to have at least 30% participation. We are currently at under 10%. I am afraid you will see many messages from us in the coming weeks asking you to participate, and I apologize, but we really need your help.

Families that do the survey will be entered into a raffle to win gift cards and other prizes. Senior families, please participate! There are specific prizes for seniors (a refund of a prom ticket, extra graduation tickets). If you fill out the survey on paper, please bring that survey to the main office. If you fill out the survey electronically, please email raffles@bostonartsacademy.org with your student's name and a phone number.

I have said many times: There would be no Boston Arts Academy if it were not for our families.  Families advocated for the opening of the school and continue to advocate for our facilities, our budget, and our philosophy of arts-based education. Thank you for taking the time to fill out this survey and for advocating for BAA once again!
