  3. Jackie reported on the Wreathed across America. The ceremony was cancelled due to weather, but Bruce and others a managed to set the wreaths by the end of the day (12-17-16). Jackie said that several inquiries regarding our event as a result of me being listed on the Wreaths Committee website by zip code) . Jackjeis also reoriented that there was a $900+ balance forwarded to the Wreathes organization on foot next year’s (2017) event. It was decided to continue this as a Committee cement. Date is not been set (Probably Dec. 9th or 16th).
  4. Dick reported that the Planning commission is involved with the Comprehensive Plan and he discouraged them from including a goal of a Historic District, based on lack of interest (especially form the Church) and the physical separation of the properties in the Village Historic area. Final submission from County Builders is expected in February or March. The new sign is in place at American Heritage Credit Union.
  5. Lorraine reported that the Hotel has neon sold to the people that recently purchased Ricci’s, Thaw use of this combined property borers watching. She also noted that the house across from Vandergrift has been cold to a person from Buckingham. This requires monitoring. There is activity at the Schaefer property, clearing, etc. She also stated the Borough is working with Doylestown Township regarding extra parking at the Train station. The purchase of part of the adjacent property is preferred to using some Church property along Beulah Road.
  6. There was discussion about the space in the Basement of the Ad Building. Bruce had some thoughts that a new partition of an area may be possible l rather than the existing “Emergency” space. There is no daylight in the interior part of the basement. Bruce suggested that he and Bob Barkley could come up with some entrance plan. He checked after the meeting that there space between the existing windows to anchor whatever might be needed. This still needs a lot of discussion.
  7. The next meeting will be February 15th 2017 (10 AM) and will be a workshop to determine what we have and also to visualize the basement options.
  8. There will be a regular meeting is March 15, 2017, 10 AM.
