Minutes for tonight’s meeting:

1. Review of March 5, 2018  - approved and Andrea will ask Carrie to post to website
2. Financials & Budget – Treasurer’s Summary

1. No expenses this month
2. Review funding after R/E taxes received and mowing begins

3. Borough Manager’s P&R Update

1. Orchard/Covered Bridge Park Plan – continued from March meeting

1. Review three proposals received.  Sam will get copies to committee members.
2. Discuss at next meeting
3. Andrea will contact DelVal about possibilities for student project.

1. Orchard Park - Ash tree work

1. Possible grants – Alex Nagy - Treevitalize

1. Management of ash trees due to borer- Submit letter of interest by May 1

•  Andrea writing draft.  Alex will forward the info to Andrea.
• Tom suggested doing this as a borough, so we can get money for the trees in Nature Preserve as well as Orchard Park.  
• We think Civic Association may also be interested in this.  We will share the information with them.

2. OP Boundary Stake Plan & Survey

1. Summary from 3/27/18 call to ‘kick-off’

1. Started on the DCNR Checklist

• Reviewed Gilmore design consultant proposal.  Sam will discuss necessary changes with Chris, and we will discuss again next month.
• Committee to assist Sam with process.  Sam will send project plan to Lori who will create spreadsheet so members can see what is done and what needs to be done.

2. Garden is almost full - possibly 2-3 spots still open
3. Account will be run through the borough - checks will be payable to New Britain Borough
4. Determine date for kick-off meeting
