The way you present your products influences a customer’s decision to buy your product.  To attract customers to your products, always provide clear and concise product information in a consistent format. Use this document when making a new catalogue submission, to check that your images meet the minimum requirements before submitting.


The checklist is intended to assist in covering the most basic requirements.

1: Where a loadsheet is used, it is...

𝥷 the most relevant loadsheet for my products according to the Global Category Tree Look-Up 

𝥷 the latest version available - recently downloaded and not previously used

𝥷 not modified in any way - I did NOT copy or delete any columns

2. My product information…

𝥷 does not contain prohibited content

𝥷 has a relevant main and lowest product category selected for all products

𝥷 has all required columns completed (highlighted in red)

3. My title …

𝥷 is the full unique product name to ensure customers can search it

𝥷 is not longer than 75 characters

4. All my images are…

𝥷 only JPEG (.jpeg/.jpg) or PNG (no transparent backgrounds)

𝥷 min 600px by Max 2048px

𝥷 minimum 72 DPI (to maintain the image clarity when zoomed)

𝥷 max file size 2 MB

𝥷 85% - 95% occupied by the product

𝥷 either owned by me or I have the right to use any of the submitted images

𝥷 in focus, professionally lit with realistic colours, shadows and smooth edges

5. My primary images...

𝥷 only contain the product being sold and include only what the customer will receive

𝥷 all have pure white backgrounds (RGB #ffffff)

𝥷 show the entire product

𝥷 meet the specific category specifications,  i.e. Fashion, Books etc.

𝥷 are of the unpackaged product only (exceptions apply to certain products)

6. I have checked the additional requirements relevant to my products
