  1. Minutes of the January 20, 2016 meeting were approved.
  2. Lorraine noted that the Hotel had been sold along with Ricci service station and Dr. Land’s property. We should continue to keep being aware of sale signs and resulting sales.
  3. There was a discussion of the potential 45 foot high buildings and their distance from the curbs like the proposal at the Knoell property. There is the possibility of this style extending up to the American Heritage site. (Dick relayed this opinion to the Planning Commission at the Wednesday night meeting)
  4. There was renewed interest in a walk-through the Knoell site before the Request for demolition is presented. Sam will coordinate this for our May 18 meeting.
  5. Wreaths across America was discussed. Jackie has it under control. We will continue this in December for another year.
  6. The Spring Program was discussed resulting in the following.
  1. Jackie and Mary Pat will work on the flyer.
  2. Marie Coia will be MC.
  3. Mary Pat and June will work on the Program working with Bob Binkley
  4. Sam will determine and invite dignitaries.
  5. Margaret will be asked to arrange refreshments.
  6. We will attempt t to finalize details at our next Meeting March 23, 2016.
  1. Marie Coia visited for a short time. She presented the text for the Promotion of the Spring Program to be in the upcoming  Newsletter. Jackie, Mary Pat and June agreed with what Marie Had written
  2. The location of the artifacts that Lori has was discussed along with where they may be displayed. Sam will contact Lori and coordinate with June for this transfer. The lower level of Burkart Hall was the location best suited for this purpose. Sam said that Barth wanted to Boro to consider renting a small l section as an Office. The Committee was not in agreement with this (in fact voted down) as we have a lot of material in the Basement and other parts of the Ad Building. All of this should be in one location such as the Lower level. It was suggested that any extra space should be reserved for a desk for research, work, etc.
  3. Lorraine has contacted Bucks Country Gardens regarding the memorial Dogwood tree. The cost is about $300.00-$400.00. Lorraine is to confirm this with Bucks County Gardens and Sam will arrange work with Council for payment authorization ($400.00), etc.
  4. The next meeting is March 23, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Ad Building, (NOTE 4TH WEDNESDAY)
