Career Center: The next ASVAB Test will be offered in March for 10th - 12th grade students. The test results can help you learn how your skills relate to the occupations that interest you the most. The test will be held on Friday, March 15th at 7:45am in the Lecture Hall. The results of the test will be available in April. If you would like more information or want to sign up to take the test, come to the Career Center. (Harper)

Seniors if you are planning to attend Evergreen State College there are some amazing scholarships available for YOU! Not only does your Counselor have a scholarship they can award you, please let them know if you want to be nominated for this.  But also the main Evergreen scholarship program EXTENDED their application deadline to Feb 22nd. Stop by the Career Center for more information, to get nominated by your counselor for the Counselor Scholarship or go to the Evergreen State College webpage for more information.  (Boelts)

Would you like to go to Japan as an exchange student with Olympia's sister city program in Kato Japan? 17 students will be selected to attend and this experience takes place at the end of June.  Application deadline is NEXT WEEK, the deadline was extended to Feb 22nd, stop by the Career Center for the application. Special Guests: On Friday, February 22nd during both Bear Times, we will host two spoken words artists in the Library. ZAG is an Egyption Hip-Hop artist, DJ, and Spoken Word Poet who is driven by his passion for Social Justice and Equality. The second artist is Esther Eidenberg-Noppe who is a jewish, genderqueer poet who writes about privilege and oppression in pursuit of comforting the disturbed and disturbing the comfortable. Please consider attending and all are welcome! (Gilman)

Sports: Attention to any athletes desiring to compete on the track and field team. The first day of the season is Monday, February 25th, so make sure to get your clearance forms in soon. There will be a brief meeting immediately after school on Wednesday, Feb. 20th in Mr. Stevick's room #402. If you can't make the meeting feel free to stop by and see coach Stevick in room #402 when possible. (Stevick)

There will be an informational meeting about Baseball tryouts happening this Friday during Bear Time A in Portable 7 (Weldon)
