Club: Final session of film auditions is now moved to November 16th. During both Bear Time A & B. A will take place in the Lecture Hall and B in the commons. See you there. (Myers)

Calling Earth Corps Members! The Earth Corps yearbook photo will be taken at the meeting today. Be there in room 409 during Bear Time B. (Bassett)

Feminism Club meets this Friday during Beartime B in room 307.  We will have our photo taken for the Yearbook so please be there if you want to be included. (Williams)

Japanese Club will meet in room 310 during Bear Time A this friday. We will be learning about Japanese Samurai and Shogunates. Interested? Come join! (Beraun)

Thanks to all who came to our first ever Asian American Society meeting. Those who could not make it are still welcome to come this friday during Bear Time B in room 405. Come check us out! (Albert)

ACLU club is holding a meeting this friday, November 16th during Bear Time B is Mr. Schaefer’s room, 508. We will be discussing voter suppression. This topic may seem outdated but it is still very much a problem today! Come learn about it and what we can do! (Schaefer)

Sci Fi Club is meeting during Bear Time B this Friday, November 16th. The topic: Aliens! (Peterson)

Career Center: Juniors, would you like to represent OHS in the Lakefair Royalty Court?  This is a scholarship opportunity worth up to $5000.  If you have at least a 3.3 GPA and would like to get more information about being a Lakefair Princess or Queen, come to the Career Center.  Applications are due Friday, November 16. Junior girls who have an interest applying to the Lakefair scholarship program can meet our former Lakefair representative Ava Brackenbury in the Career Center on Monday Nov 19th during BOTH lunches.  Come by to ask questions about this great scholarship program and learn about how you can obtain opportunities to represent your school & community on the Lakefair Court. Students interested in applying to a military academy must have their application turned in by November 21st.  Academy appointees receive an outstanding college education worth approximately $500,000.  If interested come to the Career Center for information. (Harper)

It’s not too late to celebrate the moments that matter! Our formal ordering day at school has passed for ordering caps, gowns, tassel, class jewelry and other wearable items. However, you can still order up until December 12th at the current fall prices.  Go to www.jostens.com , choose your school and place your order. Pricing will go up after December 12th. (Harper)

Lost and Found: The lost and found is getting full again! Please take the time to see if something belongs to you! (Blocher)

Seniors: Seniors! The Holidays are coming and we are selling Poinsettias! Remember this is one of the only fundraisers we do for Senior Grad Night. They will be for sale until Tuesday, November 20th.

Sports: Hey, Bear Fans! In case you missed it...you have one more Fall Sports team still competing at the State level. Your volleyball team competed in the West Central District Championship on Saturday and earned 2nd place and a #1 seed to state. This Friday, they open play at the 4A State Tournament against University of Spokane, at 9:45am. They play again later Friday, versus either, West Valley of Yakima or Kamiak. Be there to cheer on the Bears, as they finish strong and represent you well! See the state bracket and WIAA Fan Info on the concession stand window, under the varsity poster. (Crighton)
