Weekly Bulletin

January 8 - January 12, 2018  |  Week 19

MESSAGE FROM BAA HEADMASTER, MS. CLARK

I read recently that New Year's Day, unlike many other holidays, has no natural or scientific reason for being the day it is. January 1st was chosen as the official start of the new year by the Romans, but "the first day" could just as logically be any other day of the year. This fact seemed appropriate to mention when we've had an usual return from holiday break...one week later than we expected.

This week we finally return to start 2018 at BAA! And I wish everyone a very happy new year once again! We will have a regular school week in terms of schedule, and we still are planning to end the semester January 18. I hope that everyone was safe and warm during the recent storms, and I'm looking forward to seeing our Artist-Scholar-Citizens back on Monday!

CONGRATULATIONS AND SHOUT OUTS

Shout out to Kayla Campbell who was accepted into the Boston Arabic Honor Society!
