Boarding Support

Boarding Advisors

boarding@branksome.on.ca

The Boarding staff are a professional and caring group of adults who are experienced in the areas of residential living and the development of young women. Boarding Advisors hold university degrees in a number of subject areas and are well-suited to offer academic support and provide social-emotional care.

Social Worker

The Social Worker is available in the Guidance Wing of the Senior School to provide social and emotional support to individual students and their families. In addition, the Social Worker promotes school-wide positive mental health and wellness through prevention and education, and the development of social skills and emotional resilience by working with girls as a member of the Student Support Team.

Health Centre: Nurse and School Doctor

All Boarding students will have an individual appointment with the School Nurse within the first two weeks of school to assess their health care needs and to review their medical records. The Nurse must be notified of all medication being taken and any major past or ongoing medical concerns so that we can best support each student.

** If an appointment is booked and missed a cancellation fee will be applied to student counts.
