1. This was a special meeting called to discuss application for a Grant. It w was determined that we had a quorum. The Grant is for archival activities.
2. Two grants are available, one $5,000.00 non-matching and the other $15,000.00 50% matching. It was decided d to go for the $5,000.00.
3. Application must be in by August 1, 2018, but funds will not be available until next year. Money is only for work to start after approval of the Grant. No work currently being done can not be part of the Grant.
4. It appears that preserving the material in the 3 loose leaf binders is a [place to start. Marie, Dick and Lorraine will determine the number of locations and pages as a start to get the cost of digitizing and printing on archival type paper. After this other tasks may be added if necessary to reach the Grant amount.
5. Lorraine will try to set up a meeting in a week or so to assess progress. (Thursday June 7?)
