Application : A safe and effective way to inhibit the growth of Legionella and other harmful bacteria in your water storage system.

The cartridges use trademarked media technology to provide protection against infestations of pathogenic bacteria in water systems. They also prevent the build-up of scale, biofilm and rust, conditions that can affect water flow, valve operation and the growth of harmful bacteria.

The media is a combination of active ceramic and noble metal matrix that causes oxidation of the water and ionisation, a powerful disinfectant process that disrupts the replication of waterborne pathogenic bacteria. By balancing the PH of the water, and preventing the buildup of scale, biofilm and rust, the water is of an improved quality, more pleasant and healthier to use.

The cartridges will protect stored water when used as part of a complete protection system and is managed in compliance with the ACoP L8. The performance of the media has been proven by tests undertaken in NAMAS accredited laboratories. The technology complies with BS6920 Part 1 and meets the standards of the Water Byelaws Scheme. It also complied with the COSSH Regulations and Occupation Exposure Limits.

Simple to install and easy to use, the cartridges are non-chemical, non-powered, environmentally friendly and cost effective. Simply immerse in the tank and the process of protection starts immediately, with protection lasting up to 5 years. Apart from regular monitoring of the stored water system to ensure compliance with current legislation and the intermittent removal of sediment from the product, no further maintenance is needed. The cartridges are totally inert when out of water and present no hazard in their use, handling, transport or storage. Disposal is completely safe at the end of their optimum life.
