Canvas: Integrating with Google Drive

  1. Login to Canvas at my.nyit.edu (look for the Canvas tile). Click on Account (your picture) in global navigation (not course navigation - what’s the difference?)
  2. Click on Settings.

  1. Under Web Services → click on Google Drive.

  1. This will open a new window. Click on Authorize Google Drive Access.

  1. Next, sign into Google using your New York Tech email account.

  1. Click Allow to give Canvas permission to access your Google Account.

  1. This will bring you back to the Settings page. Look for Web Services and then Registered Services, notice Google Drive is now connected to your Canvas account. Success!
