Parks & Recreation Committee

Minutes for March at 7:30 in New Borough Hall  

Next Meeting in office April 6  at 7:30

Attending:  Lori Kesilman, Derek MacMillan, Tom Price, Pete LaMontange,  Andrea Antell

Absent:

We are in need of TWO more members.  Contact the office if you are interested.

Committee Organization:

• Derek is chair
• Andrea is the treasurer
• Lori is secretary
• We meet on first Mondays of the month  

Minutes for tonight’s meeting:

1. Peter update on the walkway from Covered Bridge Park to Orchard Park.

• He brought renderings

2. Discussed Camp registration form and dates  

• Amy is putting on the website tomorrow
• Mike’s waiver/permission slip

3. Gilbert clearing and grinding along with Turf management will level and seed.  

• Derek will ask council for permission/lease info at next meeting
• Robin - Can you put “Orchard Park play area” on agenda for next April’s meeting
• Can happen after the frost clears!

4. Robin - We are looking to replace the 17 trees that were removed using the Tree Fund/Bank.  How do we do this?
