As of April 20th, 2020 we will be entering the 4th marking period and want to take a moment to review our learning expectations for students. In accordance with the requirements set forth by the New York State Department of Education, students will be provided continuity of instruction. We have created a comprehensive plan that students will follow daily to ensure continuity of instruction. Please also check Class Dojo for the times that your child’s teacher will be holding Zoom lessons.

Morning meeting | 20 minutes | Teacher will post a Zoom/Google meet link - Morning meeting will be the same time every Monday, Wednesday, Friday - students should check in with teachers at those scheduled times each week |
ELA | 5-10 minutes | Teacher will post a 5-10 minute video ELA lesson every Monday and Tuesday |
20 minutes | Ooka Island - students will work for 20 minutes each day on assigned standards | |
Math | 5-10 minutes | Teacher will post a 5-10 minute video math lesson every Wednesday and Thursday |
20 minutes | Dreambox - students will work for 20 minutes each day on assigned standards | |
Reading | 20 minutes | Reading A-Z - students will read for at least 20 minutes per day on Reading A-Z |
SS/science | 5-10 minutes | Teacher will post 1 Science and/or 1 Social studies video each week, students will have an optional journal question to answer |
Writing | 10 minutes | Teachers will post at least 1 writing prompts per week |
Read aloud | 10 minutes | Teachers will post at least 1 read alouds per week |
