GUIDANCE | ||
Guidance Counsellors liaise with teachers and are available to assist students with social issues, as well as academic, post-secondary and personal planning. Parents may contact their daughter’s Counsellor if they have any questions about her progress, courses of study or future plans. Guidance Counsellors also assist with well-being, attendance and how to keep up with work if your daughter has been or will be away from school for an extended period of time.

SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER | ||
Our lead Social Worker utilizes evidence-based interventions and approaches to promote student mental health and well-being. This can include assessment, counselling, consultation and coaching, crisis intervention, liaison with and, referral to, community professionals. ADVISOR | ||

LEARNING STRATEGIES | ||
Learning Strategies Support work with students, their families, Guidance Counsellors and teachers to support the academic success of each student. Students with learning needs have individual Learning Strategies Plans developed collaboratively with the student’s family. ADVANCEMENT AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT | ||
The Advancement and Community Engagement (ACE) Department helps to nurture Branksome’s special relationship with parents, alumnae, grandparents, past parents, employees and other partners.
