Teresa

Teresa is a very strong minded lady. She set a goal to do some advanced yoga postures and through hard work, she achieved them in only a few months of training.

She has now gone on to do more exciting postures and always tackles them with enthusiasm and positivity.

Nick

Nick’s job forces him to be driving in his car for many hours a day, and due to the long hours and constant stress, he finds it hard to eat clean and find time to stretch. But after putting a diary together of how he can manage his time better, training only once per week and food preparation advice, Nick managed to lose 3 stone in 3 months.

Tony has always worked hard and learns very quickly.

We have worked on perfecting his reformer skills as he has one at home. A great guy.

And there's a good reason for that: His training in Pilates, Yoga & muscle treatments make him a very good class-leader and also an expert 1-to-1 coach and injury-healer. He’s also a good laugh!

Yvonne

Yvonne works very hard in her sessions but has had a few aches and pains that have stopped her from being able to train as hard as she would like. We have now got to a point where her pains are a thing of the past and we can focus on reaching her goals.

I have been attending sessions with Ian for a couple of years in class Pilates and for 1:1s for both personal training and sports massage. He ensures his classes are fully inclusive and exercises are personalised to individuals needs and abilities; his engagement with all participants is excellent. Ian practises a holistic approach to fitness and wellbeing and readily shares his wealth of knowledge and expertise with updates and anecdotes that enhance his fitness sessions. His follow-up communication after sessions is very good and he just makes working out great fun and highly entertaining so you just want to keep going back for more! I would recommend him to anyone without reservation.

Sylwia K

Sylwia works really hard as a carer and a full time mum, so often has aches and pains from the arduous tasks.

We work to strengthen her muscles and therapy to loosen them. She is such a strong lady. She said:

Anne

Anne is very strong in both mind and body. She is very competitive with her training which helps her reach her goals with little problem. She said:

“Ian has been my personal trainer for about 2 years. As an older woman who was not used to going to the gym and had never had a personal trainer before, I was hesitant to start as I felt I would be out of place. From the start Ian put me at ease and made me feel comfortable. He makes the sessions fun and directed towards my personal goals. He always explains why we are doing certain routines and exercises and the effect they will have on my body. I have learnt a great deal about how the body works from him. If i have any aches or pains he shows me how to relieve them. He encourages me to push myself but never lets me feel I have failed. In my time with Ian I am delighted with what he has enabled me to achieve. I have gained in fitness, strength, flexibility and confidence and have had a lot of fun on the way! I would highly recommend him to anyone considering 1-1 training.”

Mike

Mike has a great mind for exercise. He thinks things through and works out the best ways to progress. This coupled with his strength, is a winning combination. He said:

Ian is a great Pilates Instructor, making sure you are doing the exercises correctly and once mastered, showing what the next levels are.

Ian is enthusiastic and encouraging and is always asking what people want to work on and will modify and adapt any routines to meet those needs.

Renee is a super strong gymnast who always pushes herself with every aspect of her life, a real inspiration!

She had a back injury that we’re still working on, but with her mental strength, she’ll get there without a doubt! She said:

Sue P

Sue is a nurse so knows a thing or 5 about the body which keeps me on my toes and makes me need my knowledge to be top notch. We work on Sue’s ankle and aim to correct her posture and alignment to greatly improve her strength.

Gill

Gill is a really hard working hairdresser who doesn’t get a lot of time to loosen off her muscles after a long day, so we have shorter sessions but work just as hard to help her.

Ian has treated me as a therapist using many techniques to help with my back and hip problems. He’s extremely knowledgeable and really helps alleviate the pain. I also see Ian for personal training and I find the combination of the two great as a busy person with little time. He’s a great motivator and positive talker.

Ben

Ben had a lot of issues with his back and knees due to his arduous job as a Tree Surgeon.

Sometimes he has to work for 10 hours a day. But as he makes time for us to have our therapy sessions, he can maintain his busy workload with greater ease.

Rina

Rina is an incredibly strong minded lady. She knows her body and has great anatomy knowledge, so it is very easy talking about what is happening with her posture, as she understands all the technical jargon. We are currently working on her sciatica. She said:

“Ian is a great trainer with a wealth of knowledge about the kinesiology of the human body. This is very useful when you've injured yourself and you're not sure how you've done it. He is also able to provide therapy and massage, which again is very useful. He is truly enthusiastic about what he does and really helpful too. I have been trained by him for over 3 years and he's helped me through numerous injuries, sciatica and pregnancy. He always applies a personalised approach to training or treating me which I value immensely. I have yet to meet another fitness instructor as good as him and will continue to attend his sessions for as long as I can.”

Paula is a really funny lady who works hard in sessions and knows her body, a perfect combination. She said:
