Airport Accompaniments and Unaccompanied Minor Travel

Boarding staff are available to accompany students in Grades 7–9 who require support checking in at the airport or to welcome new students as they arrive to Toronto for the first time if they are traveling without family. For students traveling as Unaccompanied Minors (regulations vary by airline, please check with your travel agent), Boarding staff will follow all airline requirements for students’ departure or arrival.

For subsequent travel, or students in Grades 10-12, the Boarding staff are available to accompany students to the airport or pick them up from the airport as available on a “first come, first served” basis. Advance notice is required, and the cost of this accompaniment (taxi fare for the Boarding staff member to travel to the airport or return to campus and a $10 administrative fee) is charged to the student’s school account. At parents’ request, the school can also arrange for an airport limo to take the student to the airport or meet them upon their arrival with or without Boarding staff accompaniment. The cost of this service is charged to the student’s school account.
