Description

Application: Have peace of mind with a bespoke leak detection system.

Pump World has designed and launched a range of unique leak detectors that operate through a water sensitive cable which sounds an alarm and cuts the power supply to the pump if a leak is detected.

If the sensor cable detects water anywhere along its length, an alarm relay operates and power to the pump is shut off. As soon as the leak is fixed and the cable dried, the system resets itself. The water must touch the cable. High humidity will not cause an alarm unless condensation started to form. Less than 5 ml (one teaspoonful) will trigger an alarm. Response is fast, typically a few seconds.

The Leak Detector Single is suitable for monitoring a single pump. The Leak Detector Twin can be used to monitor two pumps that are close together. They will shut off together or independently in the event of a leak being detected.
