Olympia Tumwater Foundation Scholarship Now Open- Seniors Apply!
If you are a senior planning to attend a WA state community or 4 year college next year, apply for this scholarship. Must have a 3.0 GPA or above and demonstrate financial need. See Heather with questions. Click here to apply.

TwinStar Credit Union Scholarship Program
If you are a senior and a member of TwinStar credit union, you are eligible to apply for this scholarship. You can download an application at www.TwinStarCU.com. You can always create an account in order to be eligible for the scholarship. They will award 15 scholarships of $2000.00. See Heather for more information.

Teens in Thurston (TnT)
Hello! The Teens in Thurston (TnT) group is a new volunteer program at the Thurston Conservation District for local 14-18 year old students. We anticipate that this group will have regular meetings to learn about conservation and sustainability, learn from Conservation District staff and partners, and build community between students from a variety of backgrounds. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to participate (and potentially lead) events within Thurston County to improve environmental and watershed health.
By filling out the form below, you are stating your interest in attending our regular meetings, beginning in September. For anybody who fills out this form, we will follow up with specific details regarding this first meeting, including time, date, and location. Volunteering at the Olympia Film Society
Our student volunteer opportunities include running the box office, serving popcorn behind the concession counter, tearing tickets, and projecting movies. We are open for movie screenings in the afternoon and evening Thursday through Sunday and have special events throughout the month. Currently, all volunteers must provide proof of full vaccination for Covid 19. Volunteers under the age of 18 must also fill out a Youth Volunteer Release form which must be signed by a parent or guardian. Please email Brooke Bolding by clicking here for more information.

Avanti Climate Action Club (ACAC)
Are you interested in fighting for environmental justice? If so, join us every Monday at lunch in Quasar’s classroom! Meeting takes place in Room 315.
Student Council and ASB
What is the ASB? You are the ASB, the Associated Student Body. All of you are invited to drop into a student council meeting on Tuesdays at lunch time at 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and also on Fridays from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. Do you have ideas for our school? Let’s talk about them and make them happen! Location is in Room 103.
Therapist at Avanti
Hey all- it’s been a rough couple of pandemic years- mental health has been hard.
We are going to have a mental health therapist here at Avanti who will be here one day a week to see students!
Would you like to see a therapist weekly at school? Services are free and confidential. Only students with state insurance (Apple Health) are eligible for this program.
