Boarding Handbook 2020-21

Weekend Schedule and Curfews

We have decided that for everyone's safety, weekend leaves will not be permitted for at least the first six weeks of the term. Our aim is to limit the amount of exposure for each Bubble of students in the Boarding houses. The Director of Boarding will revisit this by the Thanksgiving break on October 9, 2020 in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team and the Risk Management team. Any changes to these arrangements will depend on the situation in the City of Toronto and we will take our guidance from Toronto Public Health.

Boarding staff will plan and supervise weekend activities that will offer our students opportunities to leave campus to explore the city, engage with Canadian culture and have new experiences. As our duty of care to students is our top priority, the activities will be limited to members of the Bubbles and will be dependent on the public health guidelines provided by the City of Toronto.
