TOURNAMENT LOCATION & PARKING

1285 Escuela Pkwy, Milpitas

DO NOT PARK ALONG ESCUELA PARKWAY.
This is a strict no parking zone, and MPD likes to exploit this. You will be ticketed.

There is plenty of parking available inside the student lot, accessible from Escuela Parkway.

SPEECH:

Drop: THURSDAY, Jan 24

ENTRY FEES:

$15 fee per entry.
For partner events, both partners must pay the entry fee.

DROP FEES:

Drops after the applicable deadline listed above will be responsible for paying the late drop fee incurred by the team, $25.

Since they are treated as two separate tournaments, you may enter up to two speech events and one debate event.

All judges will need an account at Tabroom.com, as all ballots will be online (yes, this includes speech this year).

If you have not created a Tabroom account yourself, I have done so using the email address provided when your student registered for the tournament, with the default password “msjspeech”.

You need to bring an internet-capable device with you so you can enter your ballots. You also need to bring a timing device with you, as timing the rounds is required.

Lunch will be provided to all judges, free of charge.
