Branksome Hall Parents’ Association (BHPA)

Looking to get more involved in Branksome and the Branksome community? The Branksome Hall Parents’ Association (BHPA) is here for you, please see our new Resource Board on the MyBranksome Portal.

The BHPA broadly supports Branksome’s mission and strategic direction, enhancing our community through active parent engagement, ongoing communication and strong partnerships. We are a volunteer-based organization, working alongside Branksome teachers, staff and administrators to connect families with one another and to ensure that our children enjoy the best possible experience at the school.

Our activities include:

•

Acting as the primary vehicle for parent volunteerism at the school, including through the BHPA Council, Class Grade Parent Representatives and event volunteers;

•

Hosting and supporting events that bring parents together, including our Annual Parent Luncheon, Conversations with Parents Speaker Series and class/grade-based social get-togethers;

•

Leading parent and parent-child service opportunities in support of the Branksome Hall community, and other charitable organizations and causes;

•

Representing parents through our seat on Branksome’s Board of Governors and regularly working with the school’s leadership team to share parent perspectives and feedback; and

•

Reaching out to, and helping all new day and boarding families during their first few months at Branksome.

Countless volunteer opportunities are available to parents involving a wide range of time commitments and project types. Help us to strengthen our community by contributing whatever time you have available. New Grade 8 - 11 Parents on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 8:30–10:00 a.m. in the AWC (same time as the New Grade 8 - 11 students have Orientation)

•

New and Returning Grade 7 Parents on Wednesday, September 4 from 8:30–10:00 a.m. in the AWC (same time as Grade 7 Orientation)

•

Junior School Parent Coffee on Wednesday, September 4 from 9:00–11:00 a.m. in the JS Atrium

•

Welcome Back BBQ on Friday, September 6 from 3:30–6:30 p.m. in the Lower Field

•

Annual Parent Luncheon on Tuesday, November 12
