in Monroe, Oregon, seventeen miles south of Corvallis

Muddy Creek Concerts is proud to present its first indoor concert at the Heritage Hall Community Center in Monroe, Oregon, seventeen miles south of Corvallis. Headlining the concert is Tommy and Saundra O’Sullivan, direct from O’Sullivan’s Courthouse Pub in Dingle, Ireland. A dessert potluck will be featured before the concert and during the concert intermission, so bring some goodies to share! We will supply bottled water and soda- feel free to bring any other libations.

• Heritage Hall Community Center (old United Methodist Church), 648 Orchard Street, Monroe, OR

Directions:

• Turn west off of Hwy 99W onto Orchard Street at the south end of town. The Community Center is on the left between 6th and 7th Streets

Time:

• 5:00 pm- Dessert Potluck Starts (and continues through intermission)
• 5:30 pm- Door To Concert Hall Opens
• 6: pm- Concert Starts
• Approx. 8:00-8:30 pm- Concert Ends

A voluntary donation of $25-30 per person is suggested, with $5 going to Heritage Hall and the rest to the artists. Donations will be collected at the door.

About Tommy and Saundra O’Sullivan:

Tommy and Saundra O'Sullivan hail from Dingle, Ireland, where they own and operate O'Sullivan's Courthouse Pub, a music mecca in a music-oriented town on the west coast of Ireland. Lively music "sessions" are found there almost every night.

Tommy O'Sullivan has remained one of the hidden treasures of traditional Irish music for many years. He is acclaimed as "one of the great contemporary folk voices of Ireland" and "a stellar guitarist". He has toured throughout North America and Europe, appearing at many major venues and festivals. Tommy has always kept an active recording schedule, having recorded three albums as a member of Sliabh Notes, a duet album with Bothy Band piper, Paddy Keenan, as well as two solo albums.

Saundra O'Sullivan is from Houston, Texas with native American roots. During high school she sang in many choirs and was a featured soloist. During her nursing career, she continued a high interest in music.

Tommy and Saundra's paths crossed when she attended an annual traditional Irish music retreat in Midlothian, Texas, where Tommy was an Irish guest instructor on guitar and vocals. As they explored singing together, they discovered her alto harmonies to be a perfect match to his tenor vocals. They married in Houston, Texas in March 2010 and now live in Dingle, Ireland.
