Minutes for January 11  at 7:30 in New Borough Hall  

Next Meeting in office February 1 at 7:30

Attending:  Tom Price, Jo Schuler, Tess LaMontagne,  Lori Kesilman. Derek MacMillan

Absent: Andrea Antell

Visitors:

We are in need of ONE more member.  Contact the office if you are interested.

Committee Organization:

• Derek is chair
• Andrea is the treasurer
• Lori is secretary
• We meet on first Mondays of the month

Minutes for Tonight’s Meeting:

1. Doylestown neighbor involvement - approval for
2. Proactively sent a letter to residents who border the park telling them about plans and let them about meetings.  Andrea will draft letter, share with us and then give to Sam to mail out.
3. Finalized mission statement
4. We want to register Orchard Park as a Bird Town ($20 charge from Parks funds - will come out of maintenance fees).  All members are in agreement.
5. Orchard Park Rules:

1. no camping
2. no dogs off leash
3. pick up after your dog
4. vandals will be prosecuted
5. no alcoholic beverages
6. authorized vehicles only
7. no open fires
8. open dawn to dusk
9. no littering

1. Sam reported out - Sinclair is discussing bridge.  Will let us know via email.
2. Permit - lawn done
3. Permit - waiting on bridge permit

7. Arbor Day

1. Plant 16 trees in the park??? Highland Hill
2. Arbor day community tree planting  - funding grant
3. Lori will contact Walter Nursery
