It was warm. It smelled nice too. Warm, soft, comforting, and many similar words floated through your head. An all encompassing blanket of pure love.  Heaven on Earth, reserved especially for you. It would’ve been perfect if not for the salty tears burning in your eyes. Slowly, your head is pulled out of its soft bed. The blurry image of orange hair, topped off by sharp horns greets you. Coco’s thumb drags across your face, wiping the tears as they pour down. She smiles at you as she cups your cheek, pulling you back into a tight embrace. Tears stream down your face, but they aren’t yours. Coco scratches your hair and whispers softly.

“Don’t worry. It’s all going to work out fine. Let me see that smile one more time, okay?”
