  1. Lorraine reported that 70 W. Butler were for sale and examination of the features showed some errors and issues particularly with the “Apartment”. Sam followed up with the Realtor and did not get a warm reception. When this property transfers the new Owners should be made aware of the restrictions, Lorraine also said That 86 E Butler was for sale at $250,000. She expressed concern that property sale prices seem low.
  2. Re [parts regarding other Committees, etc. indicated that there was nothing new
  3. The Wreaths ceremony was discussed. There are more contributions other that the 7 previously reported. Marie has been in contact with the Chalfont VFW and it seems possible that they will be the color guard she will pursue this. Brice said that he only needed a Marine for the wreath laying part of the ceremony. Marie said that she might be able to get a Mailing from Chalfont V.F.W.
  4. Lorraine asked for suggestion for a representative to the Advisory Committee that is usually the Chairs of the various committees. It was suggested that that Jackie represents other groups on the Committee and it would be helpful to us if she could do this for us. A motion was made, seconded and unanimously approved that Jackie be asked do this.
  5. The display at Burkart Hall was discussed. Lorraine said that there had been positive response. The next display was also discussed. Topics such as Businesses (then and Now), the various schools of the Borough and Wilma Quinlin were offered. Nothing definite was decided.
  6. The possibility of a during programs was discussed. The only Decision lade was that it should be in April. The only topic was the Doane Brothers. Members should use their contacts to see who can do this program,
  7. Lorraine reminded member that there is a Borough volunteer event Saturday December 9 at Burkart Hall
  8. The next, meeting is November 15, 2017, at 10 AM.
