Enrolment

A place on one of our Instrument Skills Days can only be reserved upon receipt of the fully completed application form with the non-returnable fee of £40 or other agreed amount. Fees cannot be refunded for a missed event unless we are unable to offer the session. No bookings will be confirmed and secured until payment of the fee has been received.

The course fee for the Instrument Skills Days includes:

• interactive music coaching  with specialist teachers
• Ensembles, and masterclasses

• Refreshments (please bring a packed lunch)
• A concert involving all participants.

Cancellation

Wells Cathedral School reserves the right to cancel the whole course or an individual session up to seven days before the start date if numbers enrolled have not reached the minimum requirement to run the course. In the event of the course or a session being cancelled by Wells Cathedral School, a complete refund of the fee will be given or an alternative date will be offered.

Refunds

Refunds will be given in the event of the course being cancelled by Wells Cathedral School. Wells Cathedral School will also offer a complete refund of the fee or an alternative date in the unlikely event that we should experience unexpected difficulties which make Wells Cathedral School unable to offer the day (please note that any minor issues that are resolved will not result in a refund).

Personal loss or injury

Wells Cathedral School cannot accept responsibility for any personal loss or injury sustained by participants.

Online Instrument Skills Days

For courses offered online, Wells Cathedral School expects all participants to have access to the Zoom platform and a wi-fi connection. No refunds will be given for any participant's technical issues that render them unable to access the Zoom meetings.

During the online course we expect that students will conduct themselves appropriately at all times. Students must be appropriately dressed and conduct the online session from an open space with accessible, responsible adult presence. Please ensure that the background does not present any personal, sensitive or inappropriate material. Wells Cathedral School reserves the right to withdraw a student for misconduct and/or failure to abide by the terms and conditions. Fees will not be refunded and the student may be required to leave the course.
