Weekly Bulletin

October 2 - October 6, 2017  |  Week 6

MESSAGE FROM BAA HEADMASTER, MS. CLARK

At Boston Arts Academy, we believe in student voice. We have a proud tradition of student leadership: BAA students have had seats on the Boston School Committee; have been leaders in the Boston Student Advisory Council (BSAC); have given testimony at Boston Cultural Council events; have advocated for the arts and for education with City Councilors and State representatives; and have participated in several major marches and protests over the last five years in the city of Boston. We teach our students that we want them to be artists, scholars, and global citizens, and our mission statement talks about students being "engaged members of a democratic society."
