Weekly Bulletin

January 29 - February 2, 2018  |  Week 22

MESSAGE FROM BAA HEADMASTER, MS. CLARK

Happy new semester! This coming Monday, January 29 we begin Term 3 and Semester 2. "Semesterized" classes (like Humanities and Science) will switch, some students will change some classes in their major, and we all have the opportunity for a fresh start.

As we approach that fresh start, it's important to reflect. One of the essential aspects of our curricula is purposeful reflection. Students, I encourage you to take the time to think about what you'd like to accomplish next semester. Where do you want to be at the end of this semester? What are the daily choices that you need to make to get there? As artists, we talk a lot about "beginning with the end in mind." Your education at BAA is most importantly that: yours. Upperclassmen often tell me that their one regret is they didn't think earlier and more often about where they were going and how they wanted to get there.

This semester is special to me because it is our last in this building! The plans for the swing space are coming together, and I hope I will see many families at the February 7 6pm meeting to discuss updates.

Have a great week!
