Course Policies - README CAREFULLY

These are the policies of the New Member Orientation Program of the Central Alberta REALTORS® Association (CARA). In order to continue, you must accept these policies. If you disagree with any of these policies, please contact the Association office.

1. The online course is to be successfully completed within 14 days of receipt of the course access code. Day 1 will be the date CARA emails the course code to the Applicant.
2. The Applicant must successfully complete the course. Successful completion means completing all the course modules and attaining a minimum score of 70% on the final exam at the end of the course. You may take the final exam as many times as necessary to pass.
3. Failure to successfully complete the online course in accordance with the policy will result in the immediate termination of the Applicant's Temporary Services and forfeiture of the course fee.
4. Applicants may be permitted one deadline extension of the course, provided the request is in writing and includes a valid reason.
5. Upon successful completion of the online portion, the Applicant must attend a technology orientation at the Association office.
6. Where the CARA education course materials are accessed by means of the Internet or other electronic transmissions, CARA, its service providers, and/or its business partners are not responsible for any damage or loss of data that may result to the Applicant, the Applicant’s computer system, or any other electronic device of the Applicant.

You also agree that this course does NOT constitute legal advice and in all cases, questions about real estate transactions and dealing with customers, clients and the public are to be referred to your Broker or Manager.

You also agree that this course is protected by copyright and all graphics, illustrations, narrations, text and method of delivery are owned by World Wide Learning Group, unless otherwise specified. Use of this course does not imply permission to copy the works contained herein.
