Setting up Facebook groups that are private for teacher/parent communication.

Create a Facebook account with your school email address.

Do not add any friends to this account, it is for school groups or pages only, shouldn’t need to friend anyone with it.

Create a new group.

Name the group and set it to Secret:

Can set it to Closed at the beginning of the year. This will let parents see it to join, then tell them you will close it on a certain date.

Otherwise get a list of their email address and invite them by email.
