Press Account Guide

A short guide of how to set up your Press Account for King of the Sea!

Attention! Press Account Rules

Breaking any rules will result in exclusion of the tournament.

Breaking any rules may result in additional actions against your main account.

Following rules apply:

Do not play any games outside of the training room.

Do not rename the account.

Do not join or create a clan.

Do not share the account credentials.

Do not do anything that is not connected to the tournament you received the press account for.

Steam Users

Unfortunately press accounts can only be used with the Wargaming Game Center (WGC). If you play the game on Steam, you have to download the application here: https://eu.wargaming.net/en/wgc

After that, you have to install World of Warships with the WGC. Follow the instructions for “Wargaming Game Center Users” once you’ve installed WoWs with the WGC.

Wargaming Game Center Users

1 - Log in to https://wows-tournaments.com/.

2 - Go to the user menu in the top right.

3 - Click on “Press Accounts”.

4 - You can now see your press account login details.

5 - Open the Wargaming Game Center (WGC).

6 - Click on your account in the top left.

7 - Click “Add account” in the bottom right of the sidebar.

8 - Select the region the tournament is played in, enter your press account login data, tick “Remember me” and click “LOG IN”

9 - You should be logged in now.

Switching between Press Account and Main Account

1 - Click on your account in the top left.

2 - If you want to switch between the press account and your main account, press the following button.

3 - Click on the account you want to be logged in to.

Remove the Press Account after the tournament

1 - Click on your account in the top left.

2 - If you want to remove the press account, press the following button.

3 - Press “X” next to the press account you want to remove.

4 - Click “FORGET ACCOUNT”.
