Primal Power & The Athlete

  1. The body is made to move. Movement is the single most important thing the human body must do! Lack of movement equates to lack of flow or "calcification," the quintessential harbinger of entropy. Failing to move traps energy. Suppressed energy is dangerous.

In the natural world, left to our wild nature, we would be moving in dynamically diverse ways for most of the day, using every muscle fiber, connective tissue and joint in our construction.

  1. Deep-tissue cleansing is powerful work, we know. BUT, coupled with smart physical training, it 'next levels' the results and one's life experience dramatically! The combination  creates a physical specimen rarely seen any longer on earth. Vitality, radiance in the aura,  appearance of skin, the skin's texture, muscular contours, as well as a consistent state of inspiration and even greater strength of character and creativity result! The two combined result in a kind of Grecian god/goddess in appearance, strength, personality and vitality. In fact, it is so rare that the two categories are combined that I have only seen it in myself and two other people who happen to be professional dancers for one of the biggest dance companies in the world. I wish more professional athletes would get in the game, so to speak! That is not to say that I have not seen the many raw and vegan athletes out there – I have. But that is nowhere near the same thing as deep-tissue cleaning. Remember, a clean diet is not the same as deep tissue cleansing! Furthermore, I have never seen anyone other than myself do so after birthing three children (a whole nother.ball game in itself). One becomes one’s own longitudinal study. If one wants to research things like this, one basically becomes a pioneer -- so don’t expect research studies to proceed your decision making in this category! You'll have to uncover the results for yourself.
  2. But we are not only combining two radically powerful factors here; with the inclusion of smart, driven physical training to our lives, we are combining three! Think of it: Deep-tissue cleansing + smart, driven physical training + restoration of Primal Power!!! Yes, we are most certainly unique in this new frontier!  
  3. When you think about ‘burning’ when you train, think rather in terms of ‘burning' pathogens, not burning calories.  The burn becomes something quite different for us powerhouses! Pathogens hate oxygen you know, but they also hate to be in the presence of determination and hard physical work. They don't like effort! They are lazy and they won't stay in a place that is made of effort. Effort is as destructive as oxygen to them. But the problem with training without cleansing is that for all the pathogens that may be burned away, more are consumed and proliferating because of diet and acidic internal terrain so training without deep tissue cleansing is a losing game.
  4. Remember that you can burn good energy with training just as you can burn bad energy and you do not want that to happen! The goal is to prevent the burning of good energy. Smart training energizes rather than depletes. Burning calories simply means burning energy. Smart training enables you to burn the anti-energetic forces but keep the good energy which you definitely don’t want burned off!
  5. This is why the calorie theory is so misguided. If you eat junk and you exercise hard, you will keep the residue of the junk inside you and burn off a lot of beneficial energy. You will still feel better than if you ate the anti-energetic food and did not exercise because of the flow and resulting serotonin and endorphins hat are released but you are not preventing the accumulation of junk which is going to make it hard to stay lean and impossible to have balanced hormones over time. Not to mention the degeneration of the bones that occurs as a result of the intake of the anti-energetic, acidic substances. Those substances will weaken the body. Exercise will not prevent that – not even smart exercise because the “human petri dish” is still going to have to carry out the chemistry determined by natural law.
  6. Syntropic Primal Power requires the living system go from strength to strength. Smart athletics provides an excellent opportunity for this!
  7. If we are going to have strong intestines and organs, we must have a strong core. Our core is the center from which our limbs operate. We need connection in living systems above all and we must seed greater and greater connectivity from the core if we are going to move from strength to strength physically.   
  8. Much of our body is dormant. When we only do one or two or even three gross motor type exercises – like running, walking, hiking, swimming, skiing, racquet and team sports we don't activate these hidden fibers. Dancing, yoga and surfing also fail to activate everything but the are better than the others as they require use of far more nuanced muscle groups -- which is why you often hear people say they want a dancer's body or a yoga body or a surfer's body, provided the sport is not undermined by poor diet). When you awaken the countless dormant nooks and crannies, these subtle dormant fibers start firing and come into the game and a totally new structure replaces your previous physical structure. You are still encouraged to engage in all the sports you love and when you add smart training to your physical routine you'll be even better at whatever sport or activity you continue with.
  9. In the interest of connectivity we must aim for unity with our body.   We should want to feel everything in our body and eventually get to the point where we do! Most people live so much in their heads that they barely tune into their body at all. Others tune in more, but only to a degree. The more you awaken these subtle parts, strengthen them and deepen your core connectivity, the more you will feel everything in your body and the unity of that. It’s a wonderful way to experience your body. You become so unified that you feel where your emotions are stuck and what needs to be worked out, where flow needs to be restored and you fix these things long before you fall ill or de-spiral on any level. It's hugely empowering and greatly prevents Primal Power drains because it greatly increases your level of awareness. Your body becomes more aware which means it is more  self governing. There is more intelligence in the body, which means...you guessed it -- more Primal Power!!

Going from strength to strength up the syntropic spiral requires pushing beyond your comfort zone.  This is where you start to earn the title “athlete.” We need to be physically pushed smartly, we need to strive in order to even begin to uncover how powerful we can be. My Sensei reminds me that we must sometimes physically “blow the speakers.” He means that we need to go as far as we are capable of going to even know how powerful our construction actually is. If you never turn up the dial on the volume of your own physical potential, you will never know just how

Note that the term “athlete” comes from the Latin “athleta" and the Greek “athletes” and was used to indicate strength of body; someone who was vigorous, robust and usually also a contender in public games. Athlos = a contest and Athlon = a prize.  In order to have such vigor (from Latin vigorem = life force), one must possess integrity of body (which would not come without integrity on all levels). Why? Because vigor is life force, fire, Primal Power. The one with the most vigor is victorious even before s/he competes because s/he is brimming with the electromagnetic currency of energy we know of as Primal Power. You build integrity in the body by reconnecting the threads and waking everything up, bringing it to flow and then BRIM and HUM with the currency of life’s fire!
  12. What should you eat right before and after a workout to be stronger and more vigorous? You caught me! Yes, it’s a trick question. Absolutely nothing. Your body will be strong for a workout because of the quantity of life force it is conducting. In fact, the more sufficiently cleansed one becomes, the more they prefer to train/perform/compete without having put anything external into their body.
  13. In conclusion, tissue cleansing without smart, driven, consistent physical training and the application of Primal Power will each only get you so far. The combination of all three is the experience we are after!
