Patricia McGovern Engineers (PME) is a small civil and environmental engineering planning and design firm located in San Francisco. We provide consulting engineering services for water and wastewater municipalities throughout California and nationally. We are growing, providing opportunity for rapid career advancement.
We are currently recruiting for a CAD position. Our preferred candidate has five to ten years experience working with CAD in site grading, yard piping, and/or water/wastewater infrastructure. Proficiency with Revit and ACAD is a must.
PME is a woman-owned firm that offers flexible work schedules, at office and work-from-home flexibility, etc. Good communication skills are necessary to coordinate the design whether we are in the same office or at different locations.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency with both AutoCAD and REVIT software.
- Experience with at least one other structural software program such as RAM, ETAB, or RISA.
- Ability to prepare AutoCAD structural plans and details with minimal supervision.
- At least four years of experience working with AutoCAD.
- Experience with water/wastewater a plus.
- Knowledge of document control standards for development and release of designs.
- Willingness to participate in design tasks under the direction of an engineer.
- Ability to work well on a project team and coordinate work with other disciplines.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to resolve issues and complete work per deadlines efficiently.
- Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
