Punishment

Spam

Sending the same or similar message three or more times, or sending messages with tons of random or unnecessary characters.

The player will be first warned. If the spam continues, the player will receive a temporary mute, anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours.

Filter Bypass

Any means of bypassing the swear filter plugin. This includes swearing in another language.

The player will be first warned. If the bypass continues, the player will receive a temporary mute, anywhere from 1 hour to 1 day.

Inappropriate Chat

Any sexual talk or sexual roleplaying in any chat, including local, team, and private chat.

The player will be first warned. If continued, the player could be temporarily muted anywhere from 1 day to 1 week.

Toxicity / Light Harassment

Individually targeting/harassing players or being toxic/extremely rude in general.

The player will be first warned. If continued, the player could be temporarily muted anywhere from 1 hour to 3 days.

Severe Toxicity / Targeted Harassment / Suicide Encourgement

Individually targeting/harassing players with using personal information or malicious intent.

The player will be instantly given a mute ranging from 2 weeks to one year.

Racism / Homophobia / Discrimination

This includes prejudiced comments against any people or group.

The player will be instantly applied a 2 month mute.

If a player is spamming/making racist/homophobic comments via message they can be temporarily banned. If a player floods chat/constantly spams racist/homophobic comments in the message they can be banned for up to 9 months.

Use of the “n” word bypass will result in a racism mute.

Doxxing

Releasing any player’s private information without their explicit consent. This includes names, addresses, and social media (photos) that they have not released themselves to the havoc community. This does not include gender or age.

The player can receive a three-week up to a nine month mute.

depending on the severity. In extreme cases, you may be banned for 9 months.

If the doxing occurred outside the server, you would be banned from a week to 9 months, depending on the severity.

Advertising

Messaging multiple players with another server’s IP or encouraging people to join a different server in public chat. Advertising IRL Deals on Havoc.

The player will be permanently muted/ banned without warning.

For IRL Deals you will first be warned and then muted anywhere from 1 hour-1 day.  

Abuse of /staff, /helpop,

or /report

Unnecessary use of /staff, /helpop or /report. This includes using them to bash staff members, make threats, or do anything besides requesting help or reporting a player.

Getting a staff member to teleport to you and then killing them by falsely claiming to need help falls under this rule.

The player will be first warned. If continued, the player could be temporarily banned anywhere from one hour to one week.

For killing a staff member via false claims of needing help, the player will be warned. If done again, they player will be

temporarily banned

for three days. The items gained from the kill will be taken.

Staff Impersonation

Claiming to be a staff member of Havoc Games of any kind, whether that be moderation staff, management, a developer, owner, an official havoc bot, etc.

The player will be first warned, unless items were gained from claiming to be staff to another player.

If items were gained, they will be removed and a temporary ban between 3 days to 2 weeks will be applied.

Abuse of /lagreport

Use of /lagreport when server isn’t lagging, spam of said command, or using alt accounts to bypass the cooldown.

The player will be banned for 3 days without warning.

If continued they will be banned for 1 week.

Serious Threats

Threats against any player, threats against the server, DDoS threats, etc.

The player will be first warned. If continued, the player could be temporarily muted anywhere from 1 - 9 months.

Intent to DDoS/DDosing

Having the intent to DDoS a player and preparing/planning on it.

This includes IP Loggers.

The player will be permanently banned without warning.

Players may appeal after a minimum of 1 year.

Movement Hacks / PvP Hacks / Unallowed Modifications

Using any blacklisted modifications or any client that provides an advantage over other players.

VR is strictly not allowed on TMD.

The player will be banned permanently without warning.

Use of VR will be a kick and then a ban of 1 to 3 days

Player Finding Modifications

Any mods that help you find other players and yield an in-game advantage. This includes X-rays, minimaps that include players, and tracers.

Using F3+A to find players falls under this.

The player will be banned permanently without warning..

Macros

Using macros for non-chat-related purposes. This includes a gaming mouse that can be used as an alternative to macros and auto clickers. Scroll wheel clicking counts as an autoclicker.

Jitter clicking, butterfly clicking, drag clicking, etc is also not allowed and will be counted as macroing.

Using macros in PvP will result in a permanent ban. Otherwise, the player will receive a warning, followed by a one-week ban if they continue to use macros after a one-week ban results in a 2 month ban.

PUNISHMENT

Inappropriate Skin / Username / Team Name

Having a skin, username or team name that is deemed inappropriate or offensive, this rule applies mostly to sexual/discriminatory names.

Players will be asked to change their skin/name/team name. If the player does not respond or ignores staff, they are to receive a permanent ban.

The player can appeal their skin/name change on the forums.

Glitch/Bug/Exploit Abuse

Abuse of server setup, bugs or glitches of any sort.

PvE killing (and attempts) falls under this rule.

Shotgun boosting on TMD also falls under this rule.

All bugs are counted under this rule, so they will all count towards this ban line.

Based on severity

The Player will first either be warned or be applied a ban. This ban can range from a temporary ban, a minimum of 3 days, to a 2 month ban.

A player who has previous bans from the glitch they are abusing is subject to a longer ban.

Item Duplication

Obtaining items in a non-legitimate way or purposely duplicating items in a means to gain an advantage over other players.

The player will be banned for 6 months without warning and their account will be wiped.

Map Exploiting

Exploiting the map to gain unfair advantages over other players. This includes attacking from a spot where you cannot be reached or hit.

Based on severity

The player will be first warned unless severe enough. If continued or severe enough, the player could be banned anywhere from 3 days to a month.

Should you leave the playable area (outside of the hand built map), it will be assumed you used cheats to get there and will be permanently banned.

Punishment Evasion

A player using alternate accounts to bypass a ban or a mute on another account.

This includes being banned/muted on one game version and evading the punishment on the other (i.e. Banned on Java and evading on Bedrock).

If the player is caught ban evading, they will be banned for the same amount of time as the original ban. If a player continuously evades, staff will extend the ban.

The player’s alts will be muted for the same length of time as their main account and may get their mute extended. If a player mute evades 2+ times, they will be banned. Any recurring offense will result in an IP ban.

IRL Scamming

Scamming is not allowed if it involves items from the Havoc Games store, shop vouchers/codes, Like exchanging a $20 voucher for  $2.3 mil in game.

We do not protect against scamming involving anything outside of the Havoc store.

A player will be banned for 6 months if they do not uphold their end of the trade.

Items will be taken from your account.

Accomplice

Helping another person break the rules or being aware of a rule breaker and choosing not to report it to a staff member.

Withholding evidence is considered accomplice as well.

Sharing an account with an evader/banned player.

An accomplice will be banned from 2 weeks to 3 months.

If Encouraging another player to break chat rules, they will be punished as well to the corresponding rule.

Altering Evidence

Altering evidence; screenshots, videos, or logs to get another player falsely punished.

The player will be punished to the same extent or more as whatever the reported player would be punished for.

Faking a duplication bug, spreading rumors about ways to get illegitimate items, or anything similar will get the player muted or banned permanently depending on the severity.

Stealing Assets/ Unallowed Use of Assets

Using any Havoc Games asset; logos, models, textures or maps without permission, doubly so if profit is made off of them.

Assets may be used if you have express permission from a server owner or TMD’s manager. Permission from any other rank is insufficient.

This offense will result in a permanent ban from the server.

Base Limit

Players are only allowed 3 bases on one account. This means that a player cannot have more bases on an alt account, or split their bases across multiple accounts.

The player will first be warned and the extra base removed from their account.

If the offense occurs again, the player can be banned from 5 days to 2 weeks

Abuse of alternative accounts

Players are not allowed to use alternative accounts to gain advantages on their main account. This includes, but is not limited to, farming kills, voting on alts, completing quests, and claiming event rewards.

Storing items on alternative accounts is still allowed.

Depending on the severity, the player will be warned for the first offense.

For following offenses, or if severe enough, the player will be banned from 3 days to permanent.

If items were obtained from boosting to a severe degree, they may be removed.

Abusing Item Refunds

Players are not allowed to abuse the ability to have items refunded when dying to a hacker or server issue.

Such abuse includes but is not limited to: Refunding the same items multiple times, getting items back then trying to refund said items. Accomplices will not receive refunds.

The player will be banned from the server for 90 days and will also have their ability to make discord tickets removed for 120 days
